Privacy Notice
Effective 2026-11-04
This notice explains what personal data we handle when you visit this site or contact us. The controller of that data is Nikita Andreevich Kostenko, based in Ukraine, the author of Archfold. You can reach the author on LinkedIn or GitHub: the links are at the end of this page.
This website
The site itself sets no cookies and loads no analytics or trackers. If you switch between the light and the dark mode, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage, and it is never sent to us. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
When you contact us
If you message us on LinkedIn or GitHub, we keep what you tell us, such as your name, company and role, to answer you and to talk with you about Archfold. We keep it for as long as the conversation needs.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Archfold itself
Archfold runs on your company's server. We have no access to your installation, documents or chats, and Archfold sends us nothing: there is no license server, no activation call and no telemetry.
GitHub and LinkedIn
The code and the issue tracker are on GitHub, and the author can be reached there and on LinkedIn. These are separate services with their own privacy policies. This site only links to them. What you post there, they handle.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the services named on this page, as far as each needs it to do its job.
Where data goes
We work from Ukraine, which is outside the European Union, so data you send us is handled there. Cloudflare may process data in other countries, including the United States. It describes its safeguards in its own privacy policy.
Automated decisions
We make no decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not profile visitors.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a limit on its use, or a copy to move elsewhere, and you can object to uses based on our legitimate interest. Contact us on LinkedIn or GitHub. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
